Berkadia is a leading national commercial real estate lender/servicer applying deep market expertise to multifamily loan origination. This role underwrites, sizes, and prices opportunities, prepares internal memos, and manages quotes in Salesforce-based systems for the Agency origination team.

You will present deals to Mortgage Bankers, work with Fannie Mae during quotes, and train new hires, driving platform growth and effective credit collaboration nationwide.

Qualifications

• Develop strong relationships and build trust with assigned Mortgage Bankers, leveraging excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, supporting efficient and accurate work processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to rapidly changing conditions while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
• Experience in underwriting agency (GSE) multifamily loans is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Proactively communicate with Berkadia’s mortgage banking network regarding products and policies.
• Review, size, and price multifamily transactions with the product originations team during the quote process.
• Engage with Fannie Mae during the quote process, draft quotes for the business and credit teams, and input quotes into Salesforce.
• Prepare internal approval memos for Berkadia’s Credit Committee and utilize Berkadia tools for analysis.
• Analyze multifamily market information to evaluate loan opportunities and support platform development.
• Present deals and address questions from Mortgage Bankers regarding pricing, sizing, and submissions.
• Lead training for new hires in the Mortgage Banking Real Estate Analyst-Deal Management network.
