Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Houston is seeking a Property Manager, Multifamily to maintain our communities to market-ready standards and lead a high-performing on-site team.

You will oversee operations, budgeting, lease administration, marketing, and customer service, ensuring renewals and profitability while upholding Cushman & Wakefield’s standards. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; 3+ years PM and management experience required; Real Estate license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Real Estate License preferred.
• 3+ years of Property Management experience.
• 3+ years of Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
• Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
• Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
• Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
• Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic.
• Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover.
• Driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
• Leading by example.
• Instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
• Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
• Maintain residents' files in accordance with company's standards.
• Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
• Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
• Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
