Job summary

JES Holdings, Fairway Management division, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Radcliffe Manor in Charleston, SC. This role supports affordable housing properties, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and make-readies to ensure quality living spaces for residents.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, completing daily work orders, and staying compliant with HUD/LIHTC standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.
• HVAC EPA Type II Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of completing unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Conduct unit make readies including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Willing to assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered and insured vehicle.
• Report to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for delegated tasks.
• Travel for regional and corporate training as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Notify management of health and safety concerns on site.
• Willing to work overtime as needed and approved.
• Train on HVAC, safety training, HUD and LIHTC maintenance standards.
