Qualifications

• High school diploma with some college or trade school preferred.
• 3+ years general maintenance, at least 1 year apartment maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• EPA certification Type I and II, or Universal and CAMT certification.
• Must be able to perform tile work, carpentry repairs, and all facets of the apartment make-ready process.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and major appliances knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance team and efficiently schedule maintenance activities (make readies, service requests).
• Monitor and prioritize service requests; identify and expedite emergencies.
• Communicate assignments and monitor workload to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on community appliances/equipment.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
