Job summary

Roers Companies LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an energetic Construction General Superintendent to lead a large-scale multifamily project from ground up. You will coordinate the work of subcontractors, inspections, and manage complex drawings and specifications.

Requirements include a BS in Construction Management and 7+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication, safety leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and project scheduling.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in large scale multifamily or commercial ground up construction.
• Excellent communication with management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors and clients.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project scheduling.
• Knowledge of current building codes and ADA laws.
• Experience with site construction, precast, wood framing, MEP trades, and interior finishes.
• Understanding of multifamily construction means and methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of all construction subtrades in conjunction with the main office.
• Arrange, monitor and be present for agency inspections.
• Read and comprehend information contained in architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and landscape drawings and specifications.
• Review shop drawings and other reports prepared by testing and inspection agencies.
• Prepare daily report forms and progress photographs.
• Enforce job site safety standards.
• Actively engage design professionals, subcontractors, project managers and local officials to problem solve, mitigate conflicts, and resolve disputes.
