Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for multifamily and senior living projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The role oversees all phases of ground-up and renovation work, coordinating with subcontractors, inspectors and architects to maintain schedules and quality.

The successful candidate will manage field operations, lead project staff, review budgets, and drive buyout processes, ensuring safety and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency with computer software used in the construction industry.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial to success.
• Experience building ground up multifamily projects of at least $5M.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading projects and working within a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned project staff and coordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers and architects.
• Review budget and project documents; develop schedules and logistics plans.
• Complete project buyout process within the approved start date, negotiating subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Monitor and control construction to ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget; investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
