Job summary

MPI is seeking a Lead Superintendent for large-scale multifamily and affordable housing projects in Southern California. This role oversees field execution from mobilization to turnover on walk-up, podium and wrap-style developments valued between $20M and $60M+.

You will lead field teams, coordinate trades, maintain schedules, and enforce safety standards to deliver projects on time. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in ground-up multifamily work, proven ability to manage multiple buildings

Qualifications

10+ years in ground-up multifamily construction with podium, wrap and walk-up experience.
Led multiple projects from site mobilization through turnover valued up to $50M+.
Strong understanding of sequencing, MEP coordination, site logistics and QA.

Responsibilities

Lead all field operations from project start through completion.
Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities.
Develop and maintain construction schedules.
Conduct Three-Week Look-Ahead planning.
Drive production while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage site logistics, sequencing, and trade coordination.
Collaborate with Project Managers, ownership groups, consultants, and subcontractors.
Lead field meetings and provide project updates.
Identify and resolve field challenges proactively. Maintain project milestones and schedule commitments
