Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multifamily construction projects in California, from preconstruction through closeout. The role offers accountability, collaboration and a path for growth within a growing general contractor with a strong portfolio.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement and contract administration while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, consultants and field teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Ground up multifamily construction experience required.
• Experience with podium, Type III/Type V, mixed use, student housing or affordable housing projects.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong budgets, contracts, scheduling, procurement and cost control.
• Experience with subcontractor buyout and contract negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications and project documentation.
• Ability to work with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and field teams.
• Strong communication, organization and problem solving skills.
• Procore experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement and overall project performance.
• Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout, contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, pay applications and project documentation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts and financial reporting.
• Identify potential project risks and develop solutions before they impact schedule or budget.
• Coordinate with the superintendent and field team to maintain momentum and quality.
• Participate in preconstruction, estimating, value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as primary contact throughout the project.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
