Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our San Diego construction team. You will support large-scale, ground-up multifamily projects and work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the build.

This role offers an opportunity to advance toward Project Management on substantial local projects, leveraging your 5+ years of construction experience and expertise in RFIs, submittals, and coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Engineer or related construction experience.
• Strong ground-up multifamily construction experience required.
• Experience supporting larger-scale multifamily projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, buyout, and project documentation.
• Bluebeam and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project execution.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and drawing coordination.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, design teams, and ownership.
• Review plans and specifications for constructability and coordination issues.
• Support project scheduling, progress tracking, and field coordination.
• Assist with quality control and resolution of project issues.
• Support project closeout, turnover documentation, and final completion.
• Maintain accurate project records and communication across the project team.
