Job summary

Ironcore Construction is seeking a Multifamily Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of multifamily projects from planning through completion in California. You will partner with project executives, superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive budget, schedule, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant construction experience will be considered.
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction methods, sequencing, and project delivery.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong financial and project-control mindset.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving construction environment.
• A proactive mentality—you identify problems, develop solutions, and take ownership of the outcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management for multifamily construction projects.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and change management.
• Drive project schedules and proactively identify risks to critical milestones.
• Review drawings for constructability, coordination, and risks.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to keep projects moving safely.
• Lead weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings and communicate status clearly.
