Job summary

Ironcore Construction in California seeks a Multifamily Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily projects from planning through completion, coordinating owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet budget, schedule, and quality goals.

You will own day-to-day management, mentor junior staff, drive safety, and advocate for continuous improvement while building communities through affordable housing.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of construction PM experience with multifamily preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction methods and sequencing.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate with design and field teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, ownership-driven with ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of multifamily projects.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and change management processes.
• Drive schedules and mitigate risks to milestones.
• Review drawings for constructability and coordination.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and documentation.
• Lead weekly OAC meetings and report status.
• Mentor Assistant PMs and field staff.
• Ensure safety and quality across projects.
