Job summary

The Beacon-Communities-LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for The Atwater at Ninth Square in New Haven, CT. The role covers diverse skilled maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general property upkeep.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, supervising in absence of supervisors, managing supply inventory, and supporting budget planning. A 1000 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires; the role is nonexempt and on-site with potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
• Oversee maintenance tasks and assist in on-call after-hours issues.
• Prepare purchase orders and manage maintenance budgets.
• Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and equipment.
