Job summary

RMS Companies is seeking a Maintenance Tech for City Crossing—New Haven, CT. The role performs regular maintenance across rental buildings, responds to resident requests, and supports building operations to uphold RMS standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of maintenance experience, holds a valid driver's license, and communicates clearly in English. Full-time position with Monday–Saturday shifts and on-call duties; lifts up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1 year building maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• English literacy (read/write/speak)

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance requests as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent
• Walkthrough buildings to identify maintenance needs
• Provide friendly, responsive service to the residents
• Prioritize maintenance requests so issues are addressed quickly
• Record and report their own time
• Communicate work requested and work executed to the Maintenance Superintendent
• Be on-call Tue–Sat as required
