The Division of Institutions within the State of North Carolina seeks a Maintenance/Construction Technician III (S) at Maury Correctional Institution in Hookerton. The role focuses on skilled work in maintenance, repair and construction of facilities and equipment in a correctional setting.

The candidate should hold expertise in multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, masonry, HVAC) and be able to guide others.

Formación

• Two or more skilled trades in facility maintenance.
• Ability to plan and coordinate multiple trades on complex problems.
• Must follow oral and written instructions and perform heavy physical tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Perform skilled maintenance, repair, and construction of buildings and facilities.
• Guide work of other maintenance staff and ensure standards are met.
• Operate tools and equipment safely to complete assigned tasks.
