Job summary

Bozzuto in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair. The role requires 7+ years in facilities and 3+ years of supervisory experience, plus HVAC, EPA or NAPE certification.

This on-site position demands safety focus, OSHA/MSDS knowledge, strong communication skills and on-call availability to support residents and property operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience and team development.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced level in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Experience with central plant, split systems, boilers and chillers.
• Safety mindset with attention to detail.
• Availability for emergency situations including on-call rotation.
• Physical ability to exert 25–50 lbs frequently and climb stairs.

• Overseeing annual building system inspections.
• Leading cost-effective capital improvements and projects.
• Managing vendor relationships within budget.
• Coordinating staffing and ensuring 24/7 emergency coverage.
