Job summary

BMD, Inc. (Builders Source) is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead the 8-location, multi-brand operation across New Mexico and Texas, overseeing warehouse, routing, delivery, installation, fleet, and safety.

You will develop Operations Managers, standardize standards across locations, and use data and KPIs to improve performance, partnering with Sales, Customer Experience, Purchasing & Inventory Control, and senior leadership to deliver a safe, efficient, and customer‑focused operation.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership in operations across multiple sites.
• Experience leading managers and multi-location teams.
• Ability to analyze data and KPIs to drive accountability.
• Track record of safety, productivity, service and cost improvements.
• Experience with workforce planning and leadership development.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with WMS/ERP and routing/dispatch tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-location, multi-brand operations across 8 NM/TX locations.
• Develop Operations Managers and Assistant Operations Managers.
• Drive KPIs: warehouse readiness, on-time performance, productivity.
• Own workforce and capacity planning with staffing and fleet.
• Champion safety, fleet and compliance including DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Manage costs and profitability by reducing waste and overtime.
• Strengthen execution in warehouse, delivery, and installation.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve handoffs and customer experience.
• Lead continuous improvement and strategic planning for future growth.
