Job summary

Withum is seeking a Senior in the Multi Employer Benefit Plan Audit group based in Tysons Corner, VA or Columbia, MD. You will lead audit engagements from planning to completion, supervise staff, and work with clients to resolve accounting issues.

A CPA or eligibility is preferred and public accounting experience is required. The role demands strong analytics, client service, and leadership to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA or CPA-eligible status preferred.
• Public accounting experience with ability to lead multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team from planning through completion.
• Oversee staffing, risk assessment, and fieldwork to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to staff and communicate with managers/partners.
• Collaborate with management on client issue resolution and accounting considerations.
