Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
• 2–4 years of public accounting experience, ideally with real estate clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit procedures and real estate accounting.
• Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
• Experience with audit software and ERP systems used in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities

• Leading the engagement team on planning and execution of audits, reviews, and compilations for real estate clients including REITs, developers, real estate funds and property managers.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of audit engagements including staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff, reviewing workpapers, and providing feedback.
• Collaborating with managers and partners to resolve client issues and provide strategic recommendations.
• Reviewing general ledger accounts and financial statements for reliability and compliance.
