Job summary

Withum is seeking a Tax Senior for Private Client Services, based in Columbia, MD or Tysons Corner, VA with a hybrid work model. You will lead tax engagements, supervise staff, and nurture client relationships.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in accounting, CPA (or near), MS in Taxation preferred, 3+ years in a public accounting tax team, and strong analytical and communication skills. Salary ranges from $82,500 to $95,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA licensing preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in tax within a public accounting firm.
• Strong analytical, client service, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns.
• Review mid-level complexity tax returns prepared by staff for accuracy.
• Research and draft memos on complex tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and handle controversies.
• Manage multiple engagements with various teams to meet deadlines.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to engagement staff.
