Job summary

IT Solutions, a nationally recognized MSP with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a Senior Engineer, Managed Services to support multiple clients and manage inbound and escalated inquiries on the Service Desk.

This role emphasizes relentless problem solving, learning new technologies on the fly, and applying best practices to ensure reliable outcomes for clients who rely on us as their sole technology resource.

Qualifications

• Six years in an internal IT environment, preferably MSP experience.
• Experience with Windows desktops/servers (2012–Current).
• Experience with Office 365 Exchange Online and Exchange 2013–Current.
• Experience with firewall and remote access VPNs (Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet).
• Experience with ConnectWise Manage ticketing system.
• Experience supporting virtual desktop environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service tickets within defined timeframes.
• Provide remote hardware/software support and maintain logs/documentation.
• Serve as internal escalation point and guide teammates on processes.
• Manage network, datacenter, security, and voice tech incl. Cisco, Palo Alto, VMWare, NetApp.
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and perform routing incident analysis.
• Monitor events using tools like Kaseya VSA, LogicMonitor, Nagios.
• Interact with vendors to drive incidents to resolution and provide client updates.
• Collaborate with multiple technician groups and project coordinators.
• Generate detailed service reports and communicate updates to clients.
• Participate in week-long on-call rotation a few times per year.
