Job summary

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL), Rare Epilepsies at Lundbeck provides field-based scientific leadership supporting NeuroRare programs. You will engage with external experts, generate insights, and guide evidence strategy, education, and launch readiness. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Travel up to 50-75% domestically, with focus on pre-launch activities, advisory boards, and strategic partnerships to advance disease understanding and credibility.

Qualifications

• Accredited advanced degree in a health or life sciences field.
• ≥5 years of healthcare or related experience.
• ≥2 years of customer-facing Field Medical Affairs experience.
• Proven experience supporting pre-launch assets, including KOL identification and strategic mapping.
• Ability to interpret complex scientific data and translate insights into dialogue and decisions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to influence.
• Proven ability to build trust and operate in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Establishs and sustains deep scientific partnerships with KOLs and investigators in rare epilepsies.
• Generates pre-launch field medical insights to inform strategy and evidence planning.
• Synthesizes insights with implications for publication planning and disease education.
• Ensures compliant documentation of insights in CRM systems.
