Job summary

Lundbeck A/S, H is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Rare Epilepsies to lead field-based scientific engagement across multiple U.S. regions.

You will build partnerships with KOLs, translate complex data into actionable insights, and support evidence generation while ensuring compliant documentation. The role emphasizes strategic collaboration with Medical Directors, Clinical Development, and cross-functional teams to shape NeuroRare medical strategy and launch readiness.

Qualifications

• Accredited advanced degree in a health or life sciences–related field.
• ≥5 years of healthcare or related experience (industry, clinical practice, research, academic, or managed markets).
• ≥2 years of customer-facing Field Medical Affairs experience within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences organization.
• Proven experience supporting pre-launch assets, including KOL identification and strategic mapping.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex scientific data and translate insights into meaningful scientific dialogue and decision-relevant insights.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
• Proven ability to build trust, lead through scientific credibility, and operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Track record of accountability, strategic thinking, and results orientation.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and sustains deep, longitudinal scientific partnerships with KOLs, Centers of Excellence, and investigators in rare epilepsies.
• Provides compliant scientific exchange to advance understanding of disease biology and endpoints.
• Generates pre-launch insights by testing value narratives and evidence gaps through external engagement.
• Synthesizes insights with implications for evidence strategy, publication planning, and portfolio decisions.
• Ensures timely, accurate documentation of insights in CRM systems per quality standards.
