Job summary

Senior Medical Science Liaison - Rare Epilepsies at Lundbeck A/S, H is a field-based role spanning multiple U.S. regions. The Sr MSL provides advanced medical leadership for NeuroRare initiatives, partnering with external experts and internal teams to generate actionable insights that inform evidence strategy and launch readiness.

You will maintain scientific credibility, drive compliant engagement, and contribute to education and portfolio decisions while traveling up to 50–75% domestically.

Qualifications

• Accredited advanced degree in a health or life sciences–related field.
• ≥5 years of healthcare or related experience (industry, clinical practice, research, academic, or managed markets).
• ≥2 years of customer-facing Field Medical Affairs experience within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences organization.
• Pre-launch experience with KOL identification and strategic mapping.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into dialogue and decisions.
• Strong written and oral communication with ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain deep KOL partnerships in rare epilepsies.
• Serve as a trusted scientific expert with compliant external engagement.
• Generate pre-launch field insights and test value narratives.
• Synthesize insights for evidence strategy, publication planning, and education.
• Document insights in CRM per quality standards.
• Partner with Medical Directors and cross-functional teams to align field execution.
• Identify IITs, grant opportunities, and research collaborations.
• Support clinical development activities including site outreach.
