Job summary

AstraZeneca's Senior Medical Science Liaison in Cell Therapy is a field-based scientific ambassador focused on hematology and multiple myeloma. The role develops local medical strategy to improve patient care in the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle and San Francisco, and collaborates with internal partners to advance the program.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced scientific degree and 5+ years in hematology/oncology, with experience in cell therapy and product launches in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required in a health science or clinical discipline.
• Experience in hematology/oncology with field medical or scientific engagement.
• Experience launching or supporting new pharmaceutical products in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain medical relationships with hematology/cell therapy experts.
• Engage in scientific exchanges with multidisciplinary teams across centers.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific information per policy.
• Educate providers on CAR-T mechanisms, disease state, and safety.
