Job summary

AstraZeneca GmbH is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Cell Therapy in the Mid-Atlantic region. The MSL will serve as the local medical voice for AZ cell therapy and myeloma, building a local medical strategy to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requires advanced science degree and 5+ years in hematology/oncology with field medical experience. The role involves engaging thought leaders, educating care teams on CAR-T and myeloma landscape, and supporting infusion centers while

Qualifications

Advanced scientific degree required (e.g. PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA or NP).
5+ years of hematology/oncology experience with at least 2 years in field medical or similar role, preferably in cell therapy/myeloma.
Experience supporting launch/development of a new pharma product in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scientific relationships with hematology/cell therapy thought leaders and HCPs in the assigned territory.
Engage in scientific exchanges with multidisciplinary teams and explain complex mechanisms of action and disease state.
Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific/product information per policy and act as a trusted scientific advisor.
