Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our Cell Therapy team for the Central US. This field-based role will serve as the local scientific voice for AZ's cell therapy assets and myeloma programs, building a local medical strategy to improve patient care in the territory.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree in a health science or clinical discipline.
• 5+ years in hematology/oncology with 2+ years field medical roles.
• Experience launching a pharmaceutical product in the U.S.
• Ability to travel up to 60% domestically.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with hematology/cell therapy thought leaders.
• Engage in scientific exchanges with hematology/oncology teams.
• Educate providers on CAR-T, myeloma landscape, safety and clinical management.
• Support cell therapy infusion centers and educate staff.
• Represent Medical Affairs at congresses and meetings.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and R&D.
