UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist II to perform complex MR procedures and analyze diagnostic data in a hospital imaging department serving outpatients, inpatients and ED. Collaborative MR protocol development and safety oversight are core responsibilities.

The role requires an accredited Radiologic Science program with MR advanced registry, ARRS registration or eligibility, MR safety expertise, and at least two years of MRI experience.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science with an advanced registry in Magnetic Resonance.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible; MR advanced certification; maintain registry status and continuing education annually.

Responsabilidades

• Acts as a subject-matter expert with advanced knowledge of MR protocols and safety.
• Assists radiologist/cardiologist in complex MR cardiac imaging and in training MR Tech Level I’s.
• Evaluates contraindications and coordinates care to ensure patient safety during MR exams.
• Obtains and manipulates MR images, performs post-processing and ensures high-quality imaging.
