Job summary

The University of Miami UHealth – Department of Radiology - at SoLé Mia invites applications for a full-time MRI Technologist 2. This role performs intricate MRI procedures, operates imaging equipment, and supports physicians in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images.

Key duties include coordinating patient flow, assisting with protocol development, training staff, and contributing to research initiatives while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology / Diagnostic Imaging program.
• Must possess a valid State of Florida License as a General Radiographer.
• ARRT registered with ARRT certification in primary modality.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant MRI experience.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
• Performs diagnostic imaging studies under the direction of a radiologist.
• Assists with the education and training of new physicians.
• Assists radiologists and PhD's in developing new protocols and Ultrasound imaging techniques that are unique to facility.
• Assists in research initiatives and development of research protocols.

Education

Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology / Diagnostic Imaging Program

ARRT registered

Florida General Radiographer license

MRI experience (3+ years)
