Victor Insurance is seeking a Senior Underwriter to launch and grow a new Miscellaneous Professional Liability (MPL) program. The role focuses on underwriting, portfolio management, and collaboration with actuarial, claims, legal, and product teams to drive profitable growth.

The ideal candidate brings 7–15+ years of MPL underwriting experience, strong broker relationships, and a track record of building scalable books.

7 to 15+ years of underwriting experience in professional liability.

Responsibilities

Underwrite new and renewal MPL risks per program guidelines and profitability targets.
Evaluate submissions, including apps, financials, loss runs, contracts and data.
Select, price, structure, quote, bind, and manage MPL accounts for sustainable growth.
Collaborate with leadership to refine appetite, guidelines, pricing, and workflows.
Maintain strong relationships with brokers to drive submission flow.
Negotiate terms with brokers while balancing production and discipline.
Monitor portfolio performance, rate adequacy, and loss trends.
