Job summary

Private Job Board is seeking a Senior Loan Processor in Charlotte to partner with Originators, Borrowers, Underwriting and Closing teams to prepare loan files. You may train staff, handle escalated cases, and serve as the LOS expert, while interacting with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a proven mortgage processing background, with the potential to guide borrowers through the loan process and help ensure timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant mortgage processing experience.
• 7+ years in processing, underwriting or equivalent roles.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills, able to mentor others.
• Thorough knowledge of TRID, RESPA and mortgage guidelines.
• Proficiency with Encompass, DU/DO, LP and AUS findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead loan processing activities and train new processors.
• Pull credit, order disclosures, appraisals, VOE and tax verifications.
• Coordinate with underwriting and closing to meet closing dates.
• Review files within 48 hours and ensure compliance documents are issued.
• Maintain a 25+ loan pipeline and communicate status to stakeholders.
