Job summary

Wright-Patt Credit Union in Columbus region seeks a Manager, Producing Loan Originations to lead a team of Mortgage Loan Originators and grow member home financing. You will guide the origination process, build relationships with builders and REALTORS, and manage the pipeline to deliver superior member service.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years mortgage origination experience.
• NMLS registration to be SAFE Act compliant.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan products and underwriting guidelines.
• Knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations.
• Ability to analyze, reason, problem solve and prioritize work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of a team of loan originators, ensuring policy compliance and pipeline follow-up.
• Originates first mortgages for members and non-members, explains programs and reviews loan conditions.
• Manages lead distribution and networking activities to maximize referral sources.
• Builds a recruiting pipeline and maintains contact with candidates for future opportunities.
• Coordinates sales training and team meetings to promote product knowledge and best practices.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with Reg B and Fair Lending; supports external audits and examinations.
