Job summary

BECU is seeking a Sr Mortgage Loan Processor to guide members through the home loan journey, handling conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and portfolio loans. You will verify documents, address conditions, and ensure timely processing from application to closing, aligning with TRID and investor guidelines.

Remote or onsite work is available in approved locations; candidates must be residents of several states. You will collaborate with loan officers and internal partners to maintain quality lending

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education-related experience.
Minimum two years of experience as a mortgage loan processor or underwriter or equivalent with an emphasis on conventional, FHA, VA and Jumbo loan products.
Proficient math skills with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

Protect the integrity of every loan: Ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Keep files accurate: review AUS findings, verify data and set up files in origination systems.
Navigate regulatory requirements and complete BKI, COC and Early CD on loans moving to closing.
