Job summary

BECU is seeking a Sr Mortgage Loan Processor to help members move through the mortgage lending journey. You will work with conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and BECU portfolio loans to ensure accurate processing and compliance.

You will review underwriting findings, document conditions, and coordinate with Loan Officers to keep the loan on track for closing. Residency in WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, NC, SC, GA, or VA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education-related experience.
• Minimum two years of mortgage loan processor/underwriter experience.

Responsibilities

• Protect the integrity of every loan in compliance with requirements.
• Keep files accurate and complete: review AUS findings, verify data and set up files.
• Navigate regulatory requirements and complete BKI, COC and Early CD on loans.
• Deliver TRID requirements on time with early Closing Disclosure.
• Manage lock-in expirations and extensions per Credit Union policy.
• Keep members informed and coordinate with Loan Officers throughout processing.
• Log documents and ensure timely receipt of outstanding information.
• Communicate decisions clearly and provide underwriting feedback to officers.
• Apply sound underwriting judgment and verify income/assets per DU findings.
