Job summary

BECU is seeking a Sr Mortgage Loan Processor to support members through the conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and portfolio loan process. The role emphasizes accurate document review, timely underwriting support, and TRID compliance, with an emphasis on adherence to regulatory and internal policy guidelines.

Candidates should reside in WA/OR/ID/AZ/TX/NC/SC/GA/VA and may work remotely or onsite at Tukwila HQ, with flexibility to visit the office on set days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education-related experience.
• Minimum two years of mortgage loan processor or underwriting experience, with conventional, FHA, VA, and Jumbo knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Protect loan integrity by complying with regulatory and information protection requirements.
• Review AUS findings and verify loan data accuracy across origination systems.
• Ensure TRID and early disclosure requirements are completed on time for all loans.
• Manage lock expirations and extensions per Credit Union policy.
• Keep members and Loan Officers informed about processing status and requirements.
• Coordinate with external sources to obtain documents within turnaround time standards.
• Provide final evaluation or underwriting support and communicate decisions clearly.
