Job summary

Cedar Band Corporation seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor for its South Jordan, UT headquarters. You will manage a high-volume loan processing pipeline from submission to closing, coordinating with loan officers, underwriters and borrowers to move files efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years processing FHA, VA, Conventional and Jumbo loans, and thrives in a stable yet fast-paced environment with a national presence. Hybrid work arrangement available after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Expert knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loan guidelines.
• Proficiency in DU/LPA (Desktop Underwriter / Loan Prospector) and related tools.
• Solid knowledge of TRID regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication with attention to detail and deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Management: Manage a high-volume pipeline of residential mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo)
• Document Review & Verification: Review applications, income, assets, and credit documents for accuracy
• Underwriting Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison between loan officers, underwriters and borrowers to clear conditions
• AUS Familiarity: Run and interpret DU/LPA underwriting outputs
• Documentation Ordering: Order appraisals, title reports, flood certifications, VOEs
• Compliance: Ensure loan files comply with federal/state/company TRID regulations
• Communication: Provide status updates to borrowers, loan officers and real estate agents
