Job summary

Milestone Lending, part of the Newrez family, seeks a Loan Officer to drive mortgage loan business by building a robust referral network and meeting clients at homes or on-site. You will educate borrowers and real estate partners on available products, guide applications, and coordinate with processing teams to ensure timely closings.

Must hold an active state MLO license, have 3+ years of origination experience, and demonstrate strong negotiation and client service skills to thrive in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Must have an active state MLO license in each state where business is to be conducted.
• High-school diploma or GED and a minimum.
• 3-years lending origination experience.
• Strong PC skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.
• Solid knowledge of state and local real estate markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a network of referral sources for mortgage loan business.
• Meet with prospective clients at outside locations to develop borrower leads.
• Educate borrowers and real estate agents on loan products and processes; present information as needed.
• Prepare and review loan applications; coordinate with processing centers.
