Job summary

Milestone Lending, a member of the Newrez Family of Companies, seeks a Mortgage Loan Officer to sell loan products and develop borrower leads. You will meet with clients at outside locations and perform in-person calls to real estate agents and financial advisors to build referral sources.

You will manage loan applications, perform prequalification, and coordinate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams, ensuring compliance with state and federal lending rules.

Qualifications

• Must have an active state MLO license in each state where business is to be conducted.
• 3-years lending origination experience.
• Strong PC skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Lotus Notes.
• Solid knowledge of state and local real estate markets.

Responsibilities

• Sell loan products offered by NewRez and develop borrower leads.
• Meet with prospective clients at outside locations and via in-person visits to agents and advisors.
• Complete loan applications and coordinate with processing, underwriting and closing teams.
• Input loans into AUS (DU/LP) for underwriting decisions and maintain compliance.
