Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in sales and/or real estate.
• 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
• Knowledge of local real estate market.
• Excellent written and oral communication; knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
• FHA/VA sales experience preferred.
• Marketing, relationship-building, and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor the branch team with product training.
• Meet with customers and introduce new clients to bankers for cross-sell.
• Collaborate on marketing to create an outstanding customer experience.
• Develop strong partnerships with retail branches to promote mortgage originations.
• Establish role as mortgage expert and maintain client relationships.
• Provide consultative recommendations based on financial analysis and customer needs.
