Job summary

Selene Finance LP is seeking a Claims Specialist II to manage the timely filing, tracking, recovery, and reconciliation of mortgage-related insurance, government, investor, and reimbursement claims. The role supports investor and regulatory compliance and partners with multiple teams to ensure accurate submissions and timely resolutions.

Analytical problem solving in a fast-paced mortgage servicing environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage filing, tracking, recovery, and reconciliation of mortgage-related claims from initiation to resolution.
Analyze losses and identify opportunities to improve recoveries and reduce claim-related losses.
Collaborate with Default Servicing, Bankruptcy, Loss Mitigation, and Investor Reporting teams to obtain and validate claim documentation.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and title companies to ensure timely processing and compliance.
Prepare and distribute recovery, aging, inventory, and management reports.
