Job summary

Selene Finance LP is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Specialist II to manage end-to-end mortgage-related claims, including insurance, investor, and regulatory submissions. You will partner with Default Servicing, Investor Reporting, and external vendors to ensure accuracy and timely recoveries.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with mortgage claims platforms, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, submit, and manage MI, FHA/HUD, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and other claims.
• Ensure claims comply with investor, insurer, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor inventories and follow up to ensure timely processing and recovery.
• Research and resolve deficiencies, denials, curtailments, rescissions, and exceptions.
• Coordinate reimbursement and recovery efforts for foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other default activities.
• Review documentation and identify trends to improve performance.
