Job summary

BrightShore Mortgage, Inc. is seeking a Claims & Recovery Analyst in Ocala, FL to maximize recoveries on defaulted mortgage loans. You will manage the claims lifecycle, audit documentation, validate losses, and file claims with insurers, investors, and agencies.

The role emphasizes compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Default, Foreclosure, Loss Mitigation, and Accounting teams to optimize timelines, reduce denials, and enhance servicing

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when auditing loan files.
• Ability to evaluate complex borrower documentation against investor guidelines.
• Experience in mortgage insurance, investor, insurer, and agency claim processes.

Responsibilities

• Review delinquent, defaulted, foreclosure, REO, and loss mitigation files to determine claim eligibility.
• Audit loan documentation and servicing history to ensure accurate claim preparation.
• Calculate recoveries, expenses, and reimbursements per guidelines and submit claims.
• Review vendor-prepared packages for accuracy and compliance before submission.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive automation to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
• Monitor aging pipelines and deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance.
