Job summary

BECU is seeking a Sr Mortgage Advisor to connect with members and brokers, delivering tailored mortgage solutions and building lasting relationships. You will focus on sourcing, expanding referrals, and representing BECU in the community to educate clients about mortgage products.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in mortgage loan sales, a self-generated volume of $12M+, and SAFE Act/MLO registration readiness. The role offers travel and a path to growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years mortgage loan sales experience; self-generating mortgage volume of $12M+ annually.
• SAFE Act compliance; annual MLO registration required.
• Excellent relationship management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Connect with members in person and via brokers to understand their needs and offer mortgage solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with agents, builders, and other professionals to deepen mortgage sourcing.
• Generate new mortgage relationships through prospecting and lead generation to drive growth.
• Represent BECU in the community and educate others about mortgage products and services.
• Occasional travel to markets served may be required.
