Job summary

BECU is hiring a Sr Mortgage Advisor in Spokane/Coeur d'Alene with a focus on building lasting member and broker relationships. You will create tailored mortgage solutions, source new business through prospecting, and work with builders and agents to grow market presence.

The role emphasizes serving communities, with moderate travel and a base plus uncapped incentive structure. You’ll join a purpose-driven team that supports growth and development within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education related experience.
• 3+ years mortgage loan sales experience with self-generated volume of $12M+ annually.
• Compliance with SAFE Act registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
• Strong relationship management and customer service skills.
• Proficient math with income analysis and lending calculations.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Create meaningful mortgage solutions for members and brokers, focusing on needs and long-lasting relationships.
• Build and maintain relationships with agents, builders and professionals to deepen sourcing.
• Generate new mortgage relationships through prospecting and lead generation.
• Contribute to team goals, coaching and developing referral generation.
• Represent BECU in the community and educate others about mortgage products and services.
• Moderate travel as required.
