The position requires 3+ years of mortgage sales, SAFe Act compliance, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Base pay plus commissions, with a comprehensive benefits package, awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan sales experience, self-generating mortgage volume of $12 million or greater annually.
• Compliance with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).

Responsibilities

• Create mortgage solutions: connect with members in person and through brokers, focusing on more than selling loan packages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, builders, and professionals to deepen mortgage sourcing.
• Generate new mortgage relationships through prospecting and lead generation to drive growth.
• Contribute to team goals, coaching and developing referral generation, and enhancing member experience.
• Represent BECU in the community and educate others about mortgage products and services.
• Serve as escalation point for member issues and concerns.
• Moderate travel required.
