Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan sales experience, self-generating mortgage volume of $12 million or greater annually.
• Compliance with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)

Responsibilities

• Create meaningful mortgage solutions by connecting with members in person and through brokers, focusing on more than just selling packages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships as the first point of contact for mortgage products and services with agents, builders, and other professionals.
• Generate new mortgage relationships through prospecting and lead generation to drive growth.
• Contribute to team goals by coaching and developing referral generation and enhancing the member experience.
• Represent BECU in the community by participating in events to generate mortgage business and educate others about BECU's products.
• Serve as an escalation point for member issues and concerns, providing value and support.
• Moderate travel as required.
