Job summary

BECU is seeking a Mortgage Advisor in Spokane, WA, to support our Home Lending team. You will guide members through the mortgage journey, from application to funding, offering personalized solutions and building lasting relationships.

You will collaborate with real estate professionals, builders, and partners to deliver exceptional service while staying current on lending regulations and product features. This role emphasizes coaching, collaboration, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education.
• Minimum 2 years mortgage loan production experience.
• Experience with conventional, FHA, and VA products.
• SAFE Act/MLO registration required annually.

Responsibilities

• Guide mortgage experience from application through funding, helping members navigate the home financing journey.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing members through needs assessment and proactive follow-up.
• Contribute to team goals by enhancing member experience and fostering mortgage growth opportunities.
• Coach branch and center teams on mortgage opportunities and processes.
• Maintain expertise in mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and LOS tools.
