Job Title: Molding Process Engineering Manager
Reporting Structure: Reports to senior site leadership; leads a team of Process Engineers and Molding Technicians within a multi-shift manufacturing operation.
Compensation Range: $90,000 – $130,000 base + bonus
Travel Requirements: Minimal

Key Responsibilities
- Lead injection molding process development, optimization, and standardization using scientific molding principles.
- Own process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), mold trials, and production readiness.
- Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting complex molding, tooling, and automation challenges.
- Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Tooling, Manufacturing, and NPI teams.
- Drive improvements in OEE, downtime reduction, and overall operational performance.
- Lead capital equipment evaluation, selection, and implementation.
- Establish standardized process documentation, setup sheets, and control plans.
- Support quality investigations, CAPAs, and process-related defect resolution.
- Serve as a technical interface with customers regarding molding processes.
Must-Have Requirements
- 7+ years of injection molding experience, including process development and optimization.
- Proven leadership experience managing engineers and/or technical teams.
- Strong expertise in scientific molding and data-driven process control.
- Deep knowledge of molding equipment, tooling, and automation systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience.
- Scientific molding certification.
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Proficiency with Minitab, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
