Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Manager to lead QC/QA across our Austin facilities. You will drive the Quality Assurance Plan, align with ISO 9001:2015, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in manufacturing/ construction services, 8–10 years in QA leadership, and proven ability to coach teams in Lean, Six Sigma, and change management across regions in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing and/or construction services.
• Strong project management skills.
• Minimum 8 years QA experience as project quality control manager.
• Minimum 10 years of team or project management.
• Minimum 2 years technical writing preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across the organization.
• Excellent facilitation skills to lead diverse project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC/QA efforts within manufacturing facilities.
• Develop and monitor Quality Assurance Plan per ISO 9001:2015 guidance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for QA reviews.
• Actively support Enterprise Program Safety QA Review Processes.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor corrective action plans.
• Maintain quality standards and update related policies and tools.
