Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer (level4) to join the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah. You will drive cross-team integration across MS&A and AVE systems engineering, coordinating analysis and ensuring timely results.

Preferred candidates have a STEM degree with 8+ years experience, proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C++, and a US Secret clearance, with strong systems engineering knowledge and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of related experience; 6 years with a Master’s; or 4 years with a PhD.
• 1 year of technical experience in mechanical/aerospace product development.
• 1 year of experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar.
• US Citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance, current and within scope; ability to obtain SAP approval.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional integration across AVEMS&A teams to coordinate analyses and drive results.
• Coordinate with MS&A, flight analysis, targeting, structures, and aero/fluid teams.
• Present difficult concepts to management and guide integrated efforts to closure.
