Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Sr. Principal Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer (level 4) to join the Sentinel program.

You will lead cross-disciplinary modeling and simulation efforts across AVE MS&A, coordinate with Flight Analysis, Structures, and Guidance teams, and present complex concepts to management. The role requires a STEM bachelor's with 8 years (or 6 with a master's, 4 with a PhD), security clearance (Secret), and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a Master’s; or 4 years with a PhD.
• Experience in mechanical/aerospace product development is required.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++ or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and technical efforts across the AVE MS&A department for the Sentinel program.
• Coordinate cross-discipline integration across MS&A teams and other IPTs to drive results.
• Present difficult concepts to management and guide teams to final outcomes.
